The mother of the woman who was captured on camera last weekend dancing on Jaguars coach Urban Meyer is very worried about her daughter. The video of the incident caused a media frenzy. Meanwhile, Meyer’s wife Shelley said on Twitter that she was at home watching the couple’s grandchildren. In a press conference on Monday, the Jaguars’ rookie head coach addressed the issue and apologised for “becoming a distraction.”
He acknowledged that his loved ones are “upset” and claimed he apologised to the team, founder Shad Khan, marketing director Trent Baalke, and his family.
Due to the negative feedback the family has received since the video was made public over the weekend, the publication chose not to identify the woman, who is only identified as a “24-year-old.” The woman’s employer, New Horizon Media Group, a marketing firm with headquarters close to Meyer’s restaurant, has also been impacted by the incident.
The corporation is undertaking an internal inquiry into the incident, according to Brian Duncan, an attorney for the company. The business is unable “to make any determination as to her (employment) status,” according to the statement.
