Memphis police have released bodycam footage of Tyre Nichols’ violent arrest. Tyre Nichols, a 29-year-old Black man, was violently arrested in Memphis, and five officers were later fired as a result. Tyre Nichols’ death earlier this month prompted the charges of second-degree murder against the officers. Three days after what his family and the police described as a nasty encounter that started with a traffic stop, Nichols passed away.

The four videos were taken from police body cameras and street surveillance cameras and were posted on the city of Memphis’ Vimeo account just before 7 p.m. EST.
