Employees at the campground close to the location of Nicola Bulley’s disappearance have criticised vigilantes for reportedly harassing locals and “filming through the windows” of residents’ homes.

In St. Michael’s on Wyre, where Ms. Bulley was last seen on January 27 walking her dog, officers were sighted on Monday at Wyreside Farm Park Caravan Site.

They frequently stop by to ask if everything is okay because the situation in this village is so terrible. Moreover, do not misunderstand me; everyone wants to locate poor Nicola. It’s heartbreaking and horrible.

Yet, they claimed that the rumours and “totally evil” abuse on social media make matters worse.

Caravan park criticises vigilantes after cops are urged to ‘alter the message’

All of it on social media. Although it’s not funny, it’s still awful. It’s almost comical.

However, yesterday, a friend of mine had someone filming out the window.

In order to “reassure other people and discourage people from going to that scene and taking things into their own hands,” retired detective chief inspector Simon Harding advised Lancashire Police to adapt how it speaks to the public.

Nicola Bulley’s next-door neighbour called her “without a doubt the most gorgeous lady, inside and out who would do anything for anyone,” according to her.
