After her bedroom recording with Zimdancehall Dj Levels surfaced on social media, Zimbabwean R&B artist Shashl came out.

Levels abused Shashl verbally and violently, according to Shashl. If she didn’t return his calls, she claimed that Levels would strike her or yell at her. Shashl admitted that after Levels attacked her, she once got bruised. After pictures of his bedroom were leaked, Levels later apologised on social media.
