‘I F***ED MY BRAIN’ How Aaron Carter’s goal of being a child star turned into a nightmare, from allegations of sexual abuse to squandering £200 million and developing a drug addiction.

“They made a lot of mistakes, but I also felt that money wasn’t everything,” the author said.

Additionally, he disclosed that he had bipolar disorder.

In the same year, he and his mother Jane participated in the relationship-repair programme Marriage Bootcamp: Tv Personalities Family Edition.

“I felt like I had been responsible for the murder of my sister, the death of my dad, for my family is coming apart,” he stated in a sob-filled therapy session. “I believe that is one of the items that pains Aaron the most,” Jane continued. He genuinely wanted to be present for them but was just too preoccupied with his own life to do it.

He had Melanie Martin’s name tattooed on his forehead months before they got engaged and she was detained in 2020 for allegedly assaulting him at home.
