Elon Musk has launched a Twitter poll to determine whether Trump should be reinstated

Elon Musk is conducting a Twitter poll to determine if he should reinstitute erstwhile President Trump to the launch pad, with initial returns showing that slightly more than half of those polled voted “yes.””Vox Populi, Vox Dei,” Musk tweeted just minutes after the poll was posted at 7:47 p.m. Friday.

The Latin phrase translates as “the people’s voice is God’s voice.” The poll was supposed to be open for 24 hours.And over 9.5 million votes had already been cast by the time polls closed early Saturday. Musk supporters who supported Trump’s reinstatement led the anti-Trump crowd 52.4% to 47.6%.Musk boasted three hours earlier in another tweet: “Trump poll getting 1M votes/hour!””Democrats are going to have to pause the count in order to haul in some mail-in votes,” Becker News CEO as well as veteran Fox News associate producer Kyle Becker tweeted after pro-Trump support soared to an early lead Friday night.

Musk launched his poll just hours after he postponed a judgement to reinstitute Trump to Twitter while lifting bans on 3 other suspension accounts.Musk tweeted on Friday, “Trump choice has still not been made.”The tech mogul did disclose the relaunch of satirical news site Babylon Bee, contentious author Jordan Peterson, and outspoken comedian Kathy Griffin.

Musk, who paid $44 billion for Twitter, has long promised to reimpose Trump, whose been barred from the app as of the US Capitol Riot on January 6, 2021.-Advertisement-Trump, for one, has vowed to remain on Truth Social, the chat app he founded after being barred from mainstream platforms that after the Capitol riot.

Large advertisers on Twitter had also supposedly threatened to cut ties with the platform if Musk reintroduces Trump.
