Dwyane Wade blasts ex-wife Siohvaughn for telling 'damaging lies' about her trans daughter Zaya

After accusing him of profiting from their transgender daughter, Zaya, Dwyane Wade is exposing her “damaging lies.”
In a long and complex Instagram statement Thursday, the retired NBA player discussed Siohvaughn Funches-bombshell Wade’s court filing, saying he is not “surprised” by her “attempt to fight Zaya’s identity” and “drag [his] title through the mud.”
“I’m very disappointed that she is constantly finding ways to centre herself and HER requires, without context refers for her children.” Wade, 40, penned.
“Over the years, I’ve given her the option to interact Zaya’s teachers, doctors, and therapists, as well as meet her friends, so that she could gain her own comprehension of our child’s needs for her LIFE!” he continued.
“She won’t do it!” exclaimed the former Miami Heat player, referring to Funches-Wade, 41, as a “absent parent” who claims to be a “good Christian mother” but hasn’t attended a single “recital, graduation, school dance, play date, practise, parent teacher conference, etc.”

Wade insisted that he and his wife, Gabrielle Union, never would “force Zaya or any of [their] kids to act against one‘s will, much less compel an identity on them,” and that he would not “sit on [his] hands” in the face of Funches-allegations. Wade’s
