Backus Trinity a missing California teen was discovered dead

According to the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office, Trinity Backus was discovered tragically dead near the place she was last seen on Wednesday night.  incident happened a day after she was reported missing from northern California. The corpse of the missing teen was recovered by search and rescue workers on Friday shortly after 2 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office. Backus’ cause of death is unknown, but the coroner’s office will conduct an inquiry and an autopsy.

The family was “lost, sad, heartbroken, and afraid out of our wits,” the girl’s aunt, Ashley Bjorklund, late on Friday told Fox News Digital.

At Kentucky Ravine Road in Nev City, California, where Bjorklund owned a 12-acre property, Backus vanished while staying the night there with a friend.
